Currently trying out a new vectoring style. Been drawn back to Illustrator lately. I’m looking at this as a good thing!

Hey folks! Three months into using our new domain name, and it just dawned on us to do a little tinkering here and there to make use of it for email purposes! Better late than never, yes? :)

We thought of making use of the usual hello (or info) at (domain name here) for our email, but we figured to deviate and thought of something a little less conventional. And since we love food at Tender Blender, well…that’s exactly where it comes from. :)

So yes! Please direct all messages to our new company email. :)

I missed vectoring, so I opened up Illustrator and thought to make this web announcement banner thingy! Yay! New email addresses!

On a lighter note, I watched Up this afternoon before heading out to watch Dark Shadows (Tim Burton! Johnny Depp! Michelle Pfeiffer! Helena Bonham Carter!) with some friends. I suddenly felt inspired by the scene where the house was floating above the clouds in the clear blue sky, and decided I wanted to make a vector illustration of my own.

There was so much detail on the house that I couldn’t finish it! Now that I’m looking at my work in progress, I’m thinking of redoing the house in a more stylized manner like the balloons. I’ll have to continue maybe over the weekend or next week, since I have work to do!

Can’t wait to finish this. (:

One of my friends got engaged a little while back, and during her birthday-slash-engagement party, she asked us to write her and her fiancé a letter that they’ll read during their wedding reception. Sort of like a time capsule thing. I’m not really big on words, so I decided not to force it and just drew something instead.

Congratulations, Jourd & Kim! Can’t wait for your wedding. (:

Harley is my favorite Batman female villain. One of my designs for my prom dress was based on Harley’s costume, but I didn’t go through with it. I don’t remember why.
